ILASFAA Message Boards (formerly ILASFAA Listservs) are available for use by ILASFAA members only.
You can sign up to receive emails from the Message Boards when you login as a member. Once logged into your account, you can find the message boards under the Communications icon in the Member Menu.
In addition to the main ILASFAA Message Board, additional Message Boards include:
- Community Colleges
- Computer Information Systems
- Health Professions
The ILASFAA listserv discussion group has been established as a communication tool to allow for the timely exchange of information and problem resolution by ILASFAA members.
Topics of discussion might include: automation within the financial aid community, the use of professional judgment, interpretation and impact of federal regulations, and institutional policies and procedures. The posting of aid-related position vacancies is also permitted. Most topics associated with the administration of financial aid are fair game for discussion.
If you send a message to one of the message boards, that message will be routed to all active members subscribed to that mailing list. Messages will be viewed by the recipients based on their listserv settings (either immediately or in a daily digest).
