ILASFAA FAAC Workshop

We are so excited to announce a professional development opportunity in partnership with the Midwest Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA) that will take place right here in Illinois!

Since 2019, an elite group of more than 650 financial aid professionals have earned the esteemed FAAC® designation—and you now have the opportunity to access an intensive preparation course to help you prepare for NASFAA's Certified Financial Aid Administrator® (CFAA) Program knowledge exam! At this in-person workshop, you will use a suite of materials prepared by NASFAA and taught by FAAC® facilitators.

Registered participants will receive a comprehensive set of preparation resources and complimentary access to the certification knowledge exam. Resources include:

• Exam preparation guide for candidates
• Self-assessment worksheet
• Exam preparation workshop handouts
• Practice exam and diagnostic report

This full workshop is $300 for MASFAA members, and $400 for non-MASFAA members. This is a significant cost savings as the exam and Exam Preparation Guide are $525 if purchased directly from NASFAA — and that doesn't include an in-person preparation workshop!

You will not only receive those two items for almost 50% off, but you will also be able to review Knowledge Exam topics in a group setting. Beta tests have shown the pass rate for workshop participants is higher by an average of 15%! We have TWO workshops scheduled with both running from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch will be provided.

Financial Aid Director's Workshop

We received such great feedback from the Fall 2023 Director’s Workshop, so we are excited to announce that we are hosting a Fall 2024 Director’s Workshop. This workshop will address key topics and questions that pertain to Financial Aid Directors.

• The registration fee for this event is $40.00 and lunch will be provided.
• Registration is open to current ILASFAA members who are Financial Aid Directors. Non-members can renew their memberships by logging into the portal.
• Seating is limited so register early
• Registration deadline is October 21, 2024
