Welcome to the ILASFAA Web Site.
The Illinois Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (ILASFAA) is a professional association dedicated to supporting financial aid administrators and the students they serve. Our association provides professional development and leadership opportunities for members as well as a variety of networking and training programs about the profession and changing federal and state regulations.This website is one of the resources available to members and includes information about conferences, workshops and the activities of the association’s executive board and committees.
As ILASFAA enters it’s 40th year, our membership is even stronger and more diverse than ever with more than 400 members--representing 150 Illinois higher education institutions and more than 50 state and federal agencies and lending institutions. If you are a financial aid professional or otherwise active in a financial aid related profession in Illinois, and not currently a member of ILASFAA, I invite you to join our association this year. Once you are a member, you will become part of a dynamic, knowledgebale group of professionals dedicated to maintaining the highest ethical standards while serving the students and families of Illinois.
